Sahiwal Cow

Sahiwal Cow is named after Sahiwal region of Pakistan. Also referred as ‘Multani’ cow, this species of cow is brownish red in appearance and short horns. It has fully developed udder and this cow is mainly raised for its high milk production capacity. This species can endure high temperature prone environment and it has long life span. Sahiwal Cow is also brought up as a good source of lean meat. Well developed body and excellent immunity function are the main features of this breed of cow.
